On January 9 and 10, hundreds of students and community members joined two vigils commemorating those who lost their lives in the UIA Flight 752 crash, including four connected to UBC. At the first vigil, students packed into a room in the Nest for a vigil commemorating former UBC students and siblings Zeynab Asadi Lari and Mohammad Asadi Lari.
This photo essay focuses on the candlelight vigil that was held at the Martha Piper Fountain to pay tribute to all four UBC community members who lost their lives in the crash.
