Last night, the UBC Ski and Board Club hosted their seventh annual Undie Run and it surely won’t be their last. Hundreds of students stripped down to their underwear and went for a naked jog around campus.
From cupcakes and cous cous, to baklava and nachos, the ISA had seven tables set up in the Marine Drive commonsblock, presenting traditional dishes from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania.
On Friday, April 8, Roots on the Roof is hosting a DIY moss art event. Students can form and figure moss on tile, whether it be words or shapes, that will grow and fix itself to the tile. Roots on the Roof is calling it “a living art piece.”

Defeat Depression is a Canadian fundraising campaign that encourages discussion and raises awareness around depression and other mood disorders. They hold runs, walks and other physical activities throughout Canada.
While students waited in line, dressed in their most colourful rave clothing, UBC Recreation staff and volunteers handed out glow sticks as well as glow-in-the-dark body paint. The entire ballroom is pitch black with different coloured lights.

The most lovable vending machine — also known as “The Hugging Coca Cola Machine” — is back at UBC. Standing tall in the SRC is Coca Cola’s signature red and white text with the words “Hug Me” front and centre. It’s kind of hard to miss.
Starting this past New Year, BC Liquor in Wesbrook Village is closing two hours earlier than normal. Instead of being open until 9 p.m. from Monday through Saturday, they are now closing at 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
