Corwin Davidson showed up at the Ubyssey office one day and has stuck around since, like a particularly persistent viral infection. He presently majors in political science, which is about as grim as you think it is these days. In his spare time he makes appalling gerrymanders of US states and generates loud noises in a couple local bands.
