After five straight loses, the T-Birds baseball team earned its redemption with a three-game sweep of the Oregon Tech Owls at home. UBC played its first double-header on Friday, coming out with 2-1 and 11-1 wins before a 7-0 shutout win Saturday.

The 38th annual UBC Storm the Wall, with over 850 teams and 3,500 participants, was bigger and better than ever. It marked the inaugural year of the Wall Challenge, a new race for teams who just want to climb the wall.

This edition of the T-Birds 5-on-5 allowed athletes to respond candidly to the hard-hitting issues that all Thunderbirds are talking about – Vanessa Carlton music, CiTR fame, UBC’s birthday and the letter C.

The 2015-16 season was nothing short of an uphill battle for the women’s basketball team. But given the team’s changing circumstances, the outcome was not all that unexpected either. UBC came out of the regular season with a 9-11 record.
