Baseball fans at Tourmaline Stadium experienced déjà vu this weekend, as the UBC men’s baseball team swept Bushnell University Beacons in a four game series.
Although the ‘Birds dropped the Battle for BC to the Canadians 8–1 in seven innings, it was a celebratory night for baseball in the province that was played in front of an adoring crowd of Thunderbird fans.
UBC baseball improved to a 3–5 record after winning three of four games this weekend versus the third-ranked Lewis-Clark State Warriors from Idaho, thanks to incredible pitching.
