Here are your candidates for the 2026 AMS Elections

AMS elections season has begun, and students are competing for five executive positions, two Board of Governors seats and five seats on the UBC Vancouver Senate.

Notably, no candidates are running for the VP student life executive position, and it is currently unclear whether the sixth executive position will be filled.

The campaign period begins on Mar. 2. Voting opens on Mar. 9 and closes on the 13. Results will be announced shortly after.

The Ubyssey will moderate a debate on Mar. 4, and the AMS is hosting two ‘meets and mingles’ on Mar. 2 and 3rd.
