A program fee attached to the proposed biomedical undergraduate program has some worried that the university is setting a precedent that circumvents the "spirit" of the 2 per cent domestic tuition cap.
Three candidates for the Vancouver-Point Grey riding came to the Nest Thursday evening for a debate focused on student issues. The Ubyssey moderated the debate and has since checked the veracity of some of the candidates' claims.

“This event is linked to the fact that we are having a BDS campaign but it is first and foremost meant to really give an insight for people as to what it means to be under siege in Gaza,“ said Emma Russo at the event.

James Cohen, a candidate for the AMS presidency, has been suspended from using Facebook Messenger for the purpose of his campaign for 24 hours after one of his volunteers engaged in “slate-like behaviour.”
There are five candidates for president in this year’s AMS Elections. In this debate, candidates were questioned about their lack of experience, the sexual assault policy — for the second time — and the lack of diversity in this year’s elections.
