Last year, I saw the RHA idly watch the rumblings of UBC’s governance issues pass them by without comment, without inquiry and without action. International tuition increases? No comment. A call for affordable housing on campus? Nope.
The RHA, while being essentially a student-funded organization like the AMS, operates more like a self-indulgent social club.
Since its opening, Ponderosa has been a mess. We were skeptical if the residence was even going to open on time as the 2013 school year approached.
