Faculties of Applied Science at post-secondary institutions across BC are beginning to lobby the provincial government for $58 million over the next 3 years. The money will be used to help institutions meet the demand for engineering graduates.

Yesterday afternoon, the Musqueam community launched a cedar canoe into the Fraser River in a cultural celebration. The canoe used in the ceremony was carved out of a 350-year-old cedar log over the course of three months.
