The Ubyssey Publication Society’s (UPS) Board of Directors is the publisher of the newspaper.
The Board is composed of the editor-in-chief, managing editor, two staff directors, business manager and five elected members-at-large. The five members-at-large are elected during the annual AMS elections by the student body. From the members-at-large, one is elected president of the Board of Directors.
The Board is responsible for The Ubyssey's budget and bylaws. It does not affect The Ubyssey's journalism — all reporting and editorial decisions are overseen by the Masthead.
