UBC recently announced that they would be building a $3.5 million dollar indoor training facility. Construction has now officially started. Check out the video from the architecture firm heading the project.
The facility was made possible by an anonymous donor and is being built next to the current baseball field. The facility is long-time UBC Baseball coach Terry McKaig's first move as the director of baseball. McKaig hopes the next development for the baseball program will be an $8 million, 1,000-seat stadium.
