The Elections Committee will make a presentation at tomorrow’s AMS Council meeting to report on the findings of an investigation into what they refer to as “voting irregularities.”
Elections Administrator Isabel Ferreras told The Ubyssey that the auditor that was hired to investigate the elections results will also be present at tomorrow’s meeting. Ferreras has confirmed that the investigations were initiated due to a specific person. “It was done on purpose,” she said.
She also said that every single race on this year’s elections ballot could be affected, and that the problem only affects online voting.
AMS Council is at 6pm on Wednesday in the SUB Council Chambers.
