The Whitecaps' development team, WFC2, is hosting "Bark at the 'Bird," a special game for which they're encouraging soccer fans to bring their dogs along to watch the 'Caps take on the LA Galaxy II. The game is on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Thunderbird Stadium, and tickets are $11 for humans and $5 for dogs.
The best part -- all proceeds from the dog tickets will be donated to the BC SPCA. Just make sure your pup is well-behaved and healthy (give a quick glance over their FAQ page to make sure he or she fits the criteria), buy your tickets before noon tomorrow (Friday the 12th), and you're set!
This is a pretty cool move from the Whitecaps organization and an excellent way to spend a dog day afternoon.
