Starting August 1, students living in UBC residences will have reduced access to commonsblock services.

A statement issued by Elections Canada said the cancellation of the Vote on Campus program was not permanent and was a result of COVID-19.

While the pandemic is still far from over, I am hopeful that soon enough we will still pull through and finally, come together as a campus and celebrate all that we had missed out on during the previous year.

“When you give, there is something that returns to you,” Dr. Ryan said.

The two-day forum includes a combination of panel events and interactive breakout room sessions where participants will be given the chance to actively participate and contribute to the discussions being held.

Many student clubs have been more vocal than the university in raising awareness around the recent violence.
